Graphic LCD modules are available in dot matrix format ranging from 96 dots wide to 320 dots wide. Mechanical construction includes Chip on Board (COB), Chip on Glass (COG), and TAB (Tape Automated Bonded) types. Technologies include twisted nematic (TN), super twisted nematic (STN), film compensated super twisted nematic (FSTN), and double film compensated super twisted nematic (FFSTN).
Positive and negative modes are available to create alternative appearances. Graphic LCD modules are available in reflective (no backlight), and transmissive or transflective types (with LED backlight). The LED backlights are available in various colours including yellow/green, white, and RGB. Where enclosure height is limited we can offer modules with low profile bezels. Operating temperature ranges include standard (-20 to +70 deg C). Interfaces include parallel, I2C, and serial. Dot gaps are available in industry standard 30 micron or high quality 15 micron. The majority of graphic LCD controllers do not include on board character sets, however we can offer a range of products which include T6963C (or equivalent) and ST7920 controllers which provide English and/or Chinese characters. Some ST7920 based modules are formatted to have the same footprint as industry standard 16x2 and 20x2 character LCDs.
We can offer 3V, 3.3V, 3.6V, and 5V operating voltage options. There are also a variety of pin out connections to suit your requirements. To meet the demands of customer applications these displays are available with viewing angles of 6, 12, 3, and 9 o'clock. For our Chip on Glass types we can offer a range of user friendly bezels and connectors.
